The Retirement Technician is My Pension Expert’s ‘ambassador’ to prospective and existing customers, requiring a professional and courteous image at all times with the aim of making customers feel important and valued. The job purpose is to promptly respond to all leads generated and aim to achieve required conversion rates; closing sales at the earliest opportunity.

The role will include:
• Working in a fast paced, customer focused, target driven sales environment
• Speaking to pre-qualified customers and carefully explaining options and services
• Arranging appointments for the internal Financial Services professionals
• Following FCA guidelines
• Achieving the required quality and customer service targets

You will need to have experience in/of:
• 18 months minimum proven sales experience within an office environment
• Previous experience of working within a target driven environment
• Experience of customer account management or customer up-selling skills will also be considered
• High volume phone based experience (with customers) is essential
• Previous experience of working within the Financial Services Industry

Hours of Work:
• Core hours will be 42 hours per week between the hours of 9.00am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday – 9.00am – 5.30pm
• Required to work two evenings per week
• Required to work at least one Saturday per month
• Required to work some public holidays
