Purchasing Administrator
Location: : Harrogate - Leeds
Rate: £ 16 to £ 16.5 K (full-time (per year))
SUMMARY: £16.5K: PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR- HARROGATE
Our clients are a specialist IT solutions distributor based in West Yorkshire. Due to expansion they are now looking to grow their team and recruit an experienced purchasing administrator to work in their Harrogate offices.
The Role:
The Purchasing Support role will require the post-holder to provide support to the Purchasing Managers on a day to day basis which will entail close liaison between the company's suppliers and the sales team.
Principle responsibilities will include purchase order placement, product pricing, claim procedures, warranty Registrations and reconciliation of invoices as well as support for all aspects of stock management.
The Person:
- Honest, hardworking, self motivated, reliable and diligent
- Excellent administration skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external contacts at all levels
- Able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative
- Literate, numerate and confident in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Tools
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Able to work towards tight deadlines
- Experience within a Purchasing Department would be advantageous
The Package:
Salary £16.5k
9.00am - 5.30pm with one hour for lunch
21 days holiday rising to a maximum of 25 with length of service
