Procurement Officer

Rate: £ 18 to £ 25 K (contract/temp (per year))

Our client is looking to recruit a Procurement Officer for a fixed term contract of 4 months.
The role is to provide a professional, customer-focused service for the procurement of goods and services, within a Category Management Framework. The aim is to achieve best value and cost effectiveness, with an emphasis on achieving cash releasing savings. You will be working within the Procurement team and offering advice and guidance to the Service team in raising procurement standards within the company.
The ideal candidate must have experience of working within a similar role.
