Our new client based in West Cumbria are looking to recruit a Civil Structural Engineer on a twelve month contract and are willing to pay upto £48 per hour for the correct candidate

Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Project definition
• Preparation of conceptual and scheme designs
• Preparation of technical specifications
• Liaison with senior managers to ensure technical deliverables are on time and to client requirements
• Production and checking of the detailed design deliverables and engineering drawings

The nature of the role will also require occasional work at client site locations.

Job Requirements

• Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering and already or working towards Chartership.
• Recognised training of software packages i.e. AutoCAD, FE analysis software an advantage. Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products
• Project engineering experience, including design, project management and some site supervision an advantage
• You will be driven to meet targets and have a high level of commercial awareness.

• Due to the nature of work undertaken at our clients' site offices, candidates will need to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance and should therefore be willing to undergo a security vetting process.
